This review is for the Beard Papa’s along No. 3 road. My friend and I had dessert here yesterday. We came at 9pm and they were closing at 10pm. We got a table quickly and were greeted nicely. They take your order at the table rather than you ordering from the cashier. I got the caramel pudding while my friend got the dark chocolate fondant. They arrived in less than 10 mins. They added chocolate crumbs over the pudding. It was good! The only thing is I could taste the cooked egg yolk (it wasn’t very creamy/smooth). My friend’s cake was good too for those who love dark chocolate. The location itself is nice and clean. I think it would be a good hangout spot with friends.
I haven’t tried the drinks there but their tapioca waffle is definitely something my girlfriends always rave about and couldn’t believe how good it was!! It’s only the Richmond location that sell the tapioca waffle with your choice of green tea strawberry or vanilla icecream and reasonably priced too! It a must for dessert if I’m willing to drive out of my way from Burnaby to go here;)!
They are such a treat indeed. Few flavors to choose from and they are also great foodie treats for your staff, friends, and family. I’m a big fan of chocolate that’s just me. I remember the first time I had one and I was hooked lol.I would recommend people to eat them the same day you buy them. It can go stale the next day.
Mini cream puffs and cheesecake stick from Beard PapasYou cant go wrong with cream puffs or cheese cake. Enough said. I`ve actually never tried the cheesecake from here before but I didn`t find them to be as dense and rich as typical cheesecakes which I liked because i usually find cheesecake to be too heavy after a while.
