Go chat with the owner cuz she is really nice :)Not a bread fan, but their breads never disappointed me!Tried all their Nature Yeast Breads(those pricey ones), chewy and not too sweet (The Durio flavor one is pretty sweet though)My personal fav is the Black sesame mochi bread, always fully-stuffed with sesame sauce and, like, totally worth the price? (I thought it would only contained a little bit sesame because it happens quite often over other bread stores)This bread store is not the delicacy kind of dessert store, no fancy pretty food for Instagram shooting, but a good place to satisfy your stomach with a little money.
Most of their bun have nothing in it.. just pain butter or coconut or sesame on top. I had tried their salt and pepper chicken bun ( too oily and tasteless )/ egg custard (not soft enough)/ pizza bun (oily), which you can find from their hot showcase. I also tried their spicy tuna bun (they put chili powder in top, bun was too hard, only one teaspoon of chewy tasteless tuna inside), dinner roll with Coconut was tasteless and hard like a rock, if u eat on next day. So far .. I like their mushroom / dried shredded pork bun.
They have better service when they were first opened. They try to make their bread and buns fancy and creative so they can sell them at a higher price. If you have not tried them, you might want to try them, but the kind of bread and buns that people want to have daily are the simple ones, not those ‘special’ ones. That is why the Kam Do Bakery at the Richmond Brighthouse station, which sells the regular flavours of bread and buns, is always crowded with people while there is always not much people at Breadlicious, which sells the irregular flavours of bread and buns. The service of Kam Do Bakery is not that good, but because they are selling what most people want, that place is always crowded. It is not so much about the price, it is about what people want.
