Chef Tony is one of the best dim sum places in Richmond. Plenty dishes to select from in which some of them are quite unique compared to typical dim sum restaurant. The portions are standard, but the flavours are there! Love their food thats for sure. The place is quite famous and was often visited by famous singers and stars from Asia. Attentive service by friendly servers.Highly recommended!
Went there once. The food is so so. But the service is terrible. service is very slow, we waited about half hour to get the first dimsum dish. And the server speaks Cantonese. My wife speaks Mandarin. They couldn’t communicate well, so the server lose her patience and walked away.At the end we give $2 tip because of the bad service. The server almost yelled to me: ‘This is Canada, don’t you know you should pay 10% tip at least?’ No, I don’t know that, but she should know her service doesn’t deserve any tips. So I will never come back to this restaurant.
Most horrible service!! Extremely rude! Horrible! Only saving grace was the rice-roll. Taro with abalone has strong fishy smell and not cooked properly. Food is overpriced. Horrible service, even for richmond standards they should do something about their staff!
Delicious dinner. Most dishes were great, but the deep fried oysters and the stir fried milk seems a bit too oily. However the restaurant is definitely overpriced. They charged $90 for a big bowl of duck soup.
rude service (depend on day and time)/ be ready to wait during the weekend even if you made reservations/ expect to wait at least 30m/foods does take longer than other dim sum places to come out good food for dim sum/ favorites are the truffle sui mai / egg white egg tart/ they have several unique items/ every once in a while they change their menugood food for dinner/ favorite is the truffle chickenparking is a hassle for surefamily friendlyprice isn’t bad since they’re sharing dishesif I had to choose 1 dish: truffle sui maiwould I go back? Yes
Bad service. Bad service. Bad service. We got yelled at by the reception, and a waitress hit one of our friend without apologizing. Complained to the manager but he was dismissive and walked away. This kind of customer service is a disgrace to the city of Vancouver and we will never come back to this restaurant.
Very good place with some extraordinary dishes. You have to come here. Went there on a Sunday afternoon. The parking could get crowded so just be prepared. I parked in the 30 minute parking space, parked there for about 2 hours, and my car was fine. I don’t think these Chinese places care that much.
