Came to this mall for Beef noodle soup and recalling my friend recommended this Chicken house. I ordered the shredded salty chicken on rice ($10). The portion was pretty generous unlike what was stated from other reviews. The chicken was smooth, juicy, soft and tasty. Just like what I had when I was in Hong Kong. I would love to try the whole chicken and also their specialty duck.
I should have check out the reviews here before trying this place. Ordered their house special chicken which is the salted roast chicken. I confirmed in Cantonese with the owner that in fact it is the salted roast chicken. Coast $10 and what I got was a couple of spoonful of thinly shredded steam chicken with some seasoned salt on tiny bed of rice. Some of these Chinese mom and pop food stalls are pathetic, no concept of repeat business. Unlike in China with the population base, where they can ripe off each person once and they can still be rich, here in Vancouver, they pull this crap, soon they will be doing nothing but wiping their counters all day. Don’t waste your time and money here.

I specifically ordered half a chicken and i got a container of shredded chicken. please do not call yourself a special chicken place when you only serve shredded chicken. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
Bonless Chicken. Their boneless House Special Chicken used to be very good but definitely not cheap – $25 for a whole chicken. Should be nice to try it together with a small glass of Japanese Sake.This time I’ve found the quality not as good as before…Overall comment : found it a bit greasy and too salty
