Went there with my friend. All I can tell is Ramen (Japanese Noodle) is too salty. The price is ok. One noodle soup costs about $10.But if you want to get tasty Ramen, you should go to downtown Vancouver. There are many Ramen places in Robson street. Those are tasty and same price.
I think my favorite ramen shop in all of Richmond. Very authentic and I love the Izakaya style atmosphere. If you come after 6PM, expect some decent wait times. Everyone wants to come here…
located along Alexandra road; free parking at the back (but gets really busy), to save your time just park along th street for $1.25/hour or carpool small place, limited seating; write your name & # of people in your party in theit clipboard I came during late lunch: simple menu, simple meals Shoyu is soy sauce based, Shiro is salt based choices for your ramen or the rich pork soup based Noodles are ok, half a piece of egg, 5-6 thinly sliced pork, green onions & lemon rind serving size is enough for 2 people to share Takoyaki: 3/5 the usual, the tako is a bit chewy I find… Gyoza: 5/5 nice crust on the pasty, sauce balances out the meat Service 10:10, one of the best I ever had. Servers are very polite, fast, efficient & respectful which I really appreciate. Thank you! Because of this, I had a wonderful meal experience.
Excellent dining experience! The noodles and other dishes were just yummy! Good service, good food, but very limited seating. If you want to avoid the waiting time, I would highly recommend going there.
Great but too salty. I know ramen is supposed to be salty, but they confuse salty for taste. Quality ingreadient and service is always good. Price reasonable. Try the chicken is great.
Came here as a party of 2 after receiving strong recommendations by a coworker. Since we arrived during their busy dinner hours, we ended up waiting closer to 2 hours. We ordered a tonkotsu miso ramen and a tonkotsu shio ramen.Tonkotsu miso ramen (2/5): broth tasted a bit off, most likely due to requesting miso instead of other alternatives.Tonkotsu shio ramen (3/5): compared to the miso ramen, overall tasted more refreshing and appetizing.Overall: Noodle and egg were nothing special and I didn’t find the pork appealing or tasty. Price is still reasonable. If you predict you’ll end up waiting as long as I did, I would recommend considering other alternatives to stave off your hunger. I will try to revisit this location when they’re not busy and try out their other items as well!
September 14, 2017I was planning to go for sushi, but cannot find any parking space on oak street and 49th, its end up went to try their: juicy and crispy deep fried chicken, takoyaki, ebi chives gyoza, Sapporo beer, unagi on rice and 2 bowls of ramen with 2 thin slices of melt in your mouth pork meat on tons of noodles with way too salty soup base. We almost tried the whole menu.. they got $9 minimum charge per person rule there.Nice and fast services. It’s pack after 2pm.Big portion of ramen, but their soup base was too salty for me, cannot tell which favourite they belong to?! All taste salty to us, but in different color… lolThey don’t have much selections. If I go there again…. I will go for deep fried chicken only, not for their ramen.
