One of the best mall deals you can get at any restaurant. Your choice of beef, chicken or pork grilled fresh to perfection, with fresh vegetables and your choice of a pile high of rice or noodles plus a hot drink for $6.45. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. One of our favourite destinations, worth a visit.
June 2019 Don’t know where the complainers ate but it was not at Grill King. The line ups every time we have been there attest to the popularity and quality of the food. The daily special is now $7.85. You get your choice of pork, chicken or beef, with either rice or chow mein noodles. Plenty of fresh vegetables, no MSG. Comes with a drink. We had a tall glass of almond milk included in the price. I love stir fried chow mein noodles and they always add a pile more on my plate, no charge. The food is stir fried grilled fresh while you wait. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes and the portions are generous and tasty. Definately worth a visit to check it out for yourself. We travel from downtown Vancouver twice a month for their special and have never been disappointed.2018 Best on the mall. Beef, chicken or pork with vegetables and either rice or noodles for $6.25. I had the pork, wife had the chicken. Portions were extremely generous. First time I have had meat in a Korean restaurant that wasn’t pressure cooked first. Grilled to perfection and both dishes were very tasty. While we were there there was a constant line up atesting to it being a popular restaurant. Meals come with a hot drink. Wife had ginger tea, I had the lemon, both were exceptional drinks.
For Food Court fast food, this place nailed it! I substitute Korean glass noodles to it to make it a JapChae. Total I believe was under $8. You can pick your own toppings and they will cook it. I choose Prawn, Chicken, Beef and mushrooms. Massive portion with lots of toppings. Shared between two people and was both full. Cant beat $8 Chinese JapChae, I say, even better than Korean places.
I like this pale at first. Food is being prepared before your very eyes; you can tell them exactly how you want your order cooked. The bad thing is I experienced what I consider false advertising. They had their price of any 5 for $6.67 but if your order contains all meat, the woman in the counter who must be the owner because she never leaves the place, will charge more.Meat had been exposed for the entire day. At the end of the day, there’s still a tray full of meat and I’ m pretty sure they would serve that the next day.So I’m no longer buying from this fast food.
New owners no good. Every since the new owners took over in mid-february of this year, the quality is not as good. I really liked the place when the original owners were there. the meats were always fresh and tasty, and the seafood too. hopefully the new owners get a grip!
Didn’t understand my order and weren’t willing to correct their mistake. They just told me maybe I would like the noodles they gave me instead of the ones I asked for. I have allergies so had to throw the food away. Would not go back.
Ordered dumpling and fry rice.they used too much bbq sause to cover those unfresh meat. and their dumpling are bought from superstore. what a joke.bad experience at all.not recommand.
