I order the seafood hot pot and I ask for instant noodle and I got with udon noodle. There is a promotion order an appetizer with a drink for $5.50 and when I look at the bill it charge me separately, I ask the cashier she said no promotion in the weekends and I don’t see the fine print in the menu saying that. I will never go there again. The food was good, services is so bad.
Tried their set lunch menu on a Saturday.Original Fish Soup Pot and Han Cuan Signature BBQ Meat Rice.Quantity was ok & price was inexpensive. However, the taste was not very impressive.Overall quality was average.If you just need something to fill up your empty stomach and do not have much expectations, no harm to give it a try.
Me and my girlfriend went to Hanppy Tofu pot house. I ordered a kimchi house special soup with thin noodles. My girlfriend ordered the vegetarian soup, with vegetarian broth. The waitress asked what type of noodle or rice she wanted. Gf replied that she does not want any rice or noodles. Waitress then replied that it comes with it and would not cost less for having without. Gf then said that she is allergic to any type of grain, which includes rice and the noodles. To say the least they brought out the dish and it had noodles, we thought alright they messed up lets just wave the waitress down to get it fixed. We said we ordered it without any noodles, waitress said it was okay its only rice noodle. We said that she was allergic and couldn’t eat it. Then she went to say that it was green bean noodle… at this time we did not trust what she was saying and asked for it to be sent back and remade. She reluctantly accepted. They brought it in the back for 10 minutes and brought it back out. After half of it was eaten we discovered several strands of the noodles in the soup. So all they did was bring it in the back and scooped out the majority of it and reserved it… totally not cool. If someone was deathly allergic it could of been a tragedy, but instead it just gave her terrible stomach pains. So with that being said, even though my soup was tasty and the atmosphere is nice and clean… a kitchen practice like that is unforgivable, so much so that it needs to be said somewhere.Thank you.
quitely located the same complex where Deer Garden signature is. Skip the long line up at Deer Garden, you’ll end up waiting for 30mins to an hour! At Happy Tofu, you’ll be quite satisfied with the large serving of rice, meat and veggies; it comes with a miso soup too! if you are a light eater, one order is good for sharing, usually $8.50 per order. It comes in a shallow dish so big eaters, this should be enough for you or order an appy to share serving is fast and good, although their tea is cold-warm when they refill it I’ll come back again as I had a positive experience with this resto
Mediocre food. Food was quite oily and the ingredients were not of high quality but for the price you can’t really complain too much. I can’t say I would go back or recommend to others. Perhaps, this place was once good but not anymore.
