I have to agree with FoodinYVR that all of the items are overspiced. Even items where you might not expect Sichuan peppercorn, like marinated beef shank and pig feet. It was a shame, because the under the spice, the food was very good quality and well prepared. Steaming the pig feet loosened the meat and dampened the spice. I shredded the marinated beef and fried it with some rice, again, again, dampening the overspicing. So, if you like Sichuan peppercorn, or are prepared to work around it, KingWuu may work for you. Too bad they don’t offer unspiced items, too.
Everything was soaked in spicy mala sauce. Everything was marinated in male sauce. Even the vegetables were in mala sauce. It was way too spicy and numb. I would not taste anything after. So be prepared. Other than that, this place looks clean. The staff had a sneeze guard. There was a vending machine for drinks, and a tv, with a table for you to enjoy your food right away. The staff said they have stores in Toronto and this is the first store in Vancouver.
