December, 8, 2018I went there with 16 friends for AYCE deluxe dinner. We just paid $3 more for deluxe meal.. Services was extremely slow. Took them half hour to give us order sheets. Another half hour for pop and plum juice. We ordered …Premium AAA sliced beef x 8 dishes total.. but we waited for 2 hours… only 2 dishes showed up, no matter how many time we ordered, just only 2 dishes. It’s so smooth with strong beef taste.. but.. they kept gave us the cheap sliced beef (what we didn’t order), instead of premium beef.We also ordered tong ho veggies, but they gave us spinach instead. I returned it back, because few of us allergic to spinach. We cannot eat it.Rest of the meat or seafood order, either never come or took them one hour and half to show up.All their sauce are tasteless… always out of soya saucepeanut butter sauce/ soya sauce/ sa cha sauce are tasteless.
Mini Hot PotA Saturday early afternoon for lunch – a table for 2. You can choose ‘All You Can Eat’ or pick your own dishes. We have chosen Mini Hot Pot : Category B – Meat Eater @ $12.99 and F – Seafood @ $14.99The ingredients was mediocre and nothing very impressive. Service was ok but sort of in a hurry all the time. The environment was clean. There was a counter that you could pick whatever sauces you’d like, however, I observed that some of the sauces were kind of ‘diluted’, not tasted as good as the original ones you can buy from the retail stores. I preferred to be offered ‘limited’ but ‘good quality’ sauces because you could not enjoy a good hot pot meal without good sauce.
Went there with 6 people. To start this off, I gotta say the food was actually pretty good. But the service was worse than McDonald’s. We wrote ’10’s and ’20’s on the sheet, and we received tiny portions in a small bowl (ordered 6 portions of udon and we only received one small bowl, how was that supposed to feed 6 people?) , when the order finally came 30 minutes later. We tried asking for more food but the server ignored us. Finally we asked the manager for our food which arrived another 30 minutes later. At this point we’ve been there for 2 hours, spending most of our time waiting. Making us wait 30 minutes per order wouldn’t be an issue, if they would just give us the portions we requested. Due to the small portions, we had to order again and again, 30 minute wait each time. The worst part was when we were leaving. Due to the worst service we’ve ever seen at any restaurant, we decided not to tip. We paid 170 for the 168 dollar meal. Then manager had the audacity to chase us out to the parking lot to tell us we didn’t leave enough tip. In which we had to explain to him the horrendous service. He waited by the door until we got into our cars and drove away. The final verdict, I would never recommend this place to anyone nor will we be returning. This place deserves 0 stars. I also normally don’t write reviews but this was an exception, I took an extra 20 minutes just to write this.
Soooo dang expensive but sooo dang good. The prices here are a bit higher compared to the competition but they have an excellent selection of fresh ingredients to choose from. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and looks modern. Overall I enjoyed the hotpot till my hearts content and I still suffer from ptsd from how much I ate that night. Great hotpot!
In a nutshell it is Overpriced All you can eat and shit service, and gets all the portions wrong. IF YOu go there I recommend u order as much as you can on the first round because after that they take an eternity.
Ayyyyy so expensive for hot pot. It’ll be way better and cheaper to do hot pot at home if you could. The couple times I’ve been, it was always packed. Kinda hard to get the waiter’s/waitress’s attention. For the most part, delicious but how could it not be when you’re cooking your own ingredients?
Been coming here for quite sometime now…Our go to place for hot pot during the fall/winter. They just did renovations about 2 months ago. All-you-can-eat used to be $20. It is now $24 per person plus the $10 soup base on top. Includes dipping sauces (self serve): soya sauce, chilli oil, peanut sauce, satay sauce and vinegar. Extra toppings are $1: ie. Cilantro, garlic, chilli peppers etc. Overall food is quite fresh but service is lacking. They never give the amount you order, so make sure you order a little more on your first round. I find every time I go I have to always ask for soup top up or drink/tea refills. Great variety of items on their menu.
