Mazazu Crepe is one of the vendors at the Aberdeen Food Court. In our opinion, the green tea parfait gets a bit too much: it is good but the brownie and red bean makes it too rich for us to finish it all.
Ordered the tuna salad and egg crepe. Nothing special about the taste. It was not bad, but just pretty normal. Tastes like an ordinary tuna salad sandwich. However, if you are looking for something light and healthier than the rest of the fast food, this is not a bad choice.
| Green Tea Shiatama Azuki Gelato Crepe |Tasty Level: 8.5/10Price: $5.75Will I Come Again: Yess—Everytime I come back to vancouver, I would always get a crepe from here. I love the different texture that you get from this crepe from the creaminess of the icecream to the chewiness of the mochi. It was super super good and I recommend trying out the strawberry cheesecake crepe too if you come and try out this place!! 🙂
We were shopping at Aberdeen and wanted some dessert, so we stopped by Mazazu to grab a crepe. We ordered the chocolate banana and fresh cream crepe. Their crepes are decent sized, but they do not put much filling it them. Most crepe places use an entire banana, but Mazuzu only used half a banana. Plus their ice cream is the fake cream. We wouldn’t order their crepes again.
Food is fair but overpriced. The crepe taste rubbery, it is very hard to digest. The cashier lady does not have any knowledge of customer services. She was tempered, I would say if you are not in a good mood, please don’t express any unhappiness to your customers.
Matcha and milky soft serves are very rich in flavour. They ran out of matcha ice cream when making mine so it took a long time for them to make it. So by the time I received my parfait, the milky ice cream at the bottom already started melting. They wouldn’t re-make new a new one. Parfait gets a bit too much: it’s good but the brownie and red bean makes it too rich for me to finish it all. Didn’t try the crepe but I saw the crepe breaking when they were making it for others. I’d come back for the matcha or milky ice cream. It’s rich in flavor.
The first thing you will notice about this place is the brightly lit crepe display. It shows the variety of selections they have. I got the strawberry cheese cake one and well… It was alright. I mean there’s no wow factor about it really. Tastes good looks cool, but there was something lacking. I took a few bites then gave it to my friend.
