Came here for early dinner. They have a good selection of drinks, noodles and rice. The chicken nuggets were pretty good. The fried rice was reasonable, not too oily now salty. Drinks were also quite good, not too sweet. My bubble tea was quite creamy, which is my preference.
decent service decent food/ quality went down it seemed newly renovated interior average price for bubble tea foodfamily friendly if I had to choose 1 dish : spicy Taiwanese beef soup with vermicelli would i go back ? Yes
They renovated this location, the washroom is now upstairs and kitchen is cleaner. However I got food-poisoning last night from eating their Three-spice chicken meal. It was a terrible experience and I advise their chefs to take their time to cook slowly and have their waitresses/waiters to cater more to the customers. There were countless of times when this particular waitress saw my hand and ignored me.
I am extremely disappointed with the location at Richmond Center.I regularly go to the other Pearl Castle on Sexmith in Richmond and have visited the Burnaby location as well and food is okay. This the SECOND time I come to this location on Minoru Blvd, and had to wait more than 45 minutes to be served my fried rice. The person with me pretty much finished their meal already by the time they finally decided to serve me. And unless mentioned to them they would not even take notice. I am sure that if I was Asian I would be served right away! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU SPEAK MANDARIN shift manager did not even care!!! Very dissatisfied rating of 1 because I am not able to go lower!
Their food is good but how they treat their customers is terrible. We went for dinner at 5 pm. We ordered a dish of fried rice. Waitress said this dish takes 20 mins to prepare. We said we can wait. She later came back to tell us they don’t have fried rice today. We find this explanation pretty ridiculous. We saw them serving plain rice and how can there be no fried rice. We looked at the front door, there were a few groups of people waiting for tables so this may be the reason why the waitress made up such a stupidexcuse. And please be informed that they don’t serve House Special Beef Noodles until after3:30 pm.They should have written these things on the menu.
Borroclis are not fresh, and meats taste hot outside, but cold inside,i think i can guess how they prepared my meal. Anyway, service are ok, drink are good.Tofu taste delicious.
Bubble tea on point and fresh. Their grass jelly, pearls and drinks are done properly. Their food is pretty damn good too. We had shrimp rice.. Huge quantity and tasty but a bit oily. Also had beef noodle soup. This was really good! Lots. Of beef, fresh flat noodles and decent broth. Can’t go wrong coming here
