Service is ok. Food quality is decent. Love their chicken steak. And their fried tofu. If you have a larger party, then you can order servers main dishes and share.
Ordered the Taiwanese style steak on sizzling plate. The first steak was way under cooked. Especially the section where the meat was very thick. After talking to the server, they actually remade another plate. However, the steak was way over cooked and dry this time. The steak cooking skill is extremely disappointed.
We go here for late night eats after badminton on Friday nights. The main item, their 50% off bbt special after 9pm or so.Watermelon juice is finally in season!! So I got that. It was a bit on the icy side for my liking. Next time I would ask for less ice or no ice. Other go-to drinks are the wintermelon milk, house special, with grass jelly or pearls. Ask for half sweet if you like it sweet but not overly sweet. The food is just alright. Usual items ordered include their steak hot plates, and the two fried fish filet dishes (with the 2-dish combo add on), and chicken nuggets. bonbonberry.wordpress.com
busy parking area around here busy place, try to go after 1 and 8pm if you can or early afternoon CASH only folks, $30 for 2 people (1 appy, 2 main dishes) $40 if you order drinks bubble tea is around $4.50 excluding pearls attentive and good servers, one of the good ones that I haven’t had for a while in the lower mainland the food is good, not the best, I can say its a typical Taiwanese cuisine. I can’t complain as its tasty enough, not too salty deep fried chicken is my fave, nicely spiced for me, I would order this again meat on rice: not too bad, just a little oily, the noodles are good & chewy5 spice beef wrap was a bit oily but better from the other ones I had from different restaurants would I go back? Maybe for the deep fried chicken nuggets but I’ll try different restos first for now
Waited 20 mins for a two person table which is totally fine, however, after 50mins wait, the server didn’t find out they missed our order until we want to cancel it ,even though we asked twice in 30mins and the server said it was on the way, Which means we’ve waited 50mins for nothing!!
I only go here for their fried rice. I like their house special fried rice. I think it’s called the shredded pork fried rice. It’s delicious and the portion is big so you could probably eat it for two meals. Their bubble tea is meh.
This is definitely one of my guilty pleasures. The food and drinks here are greasy, fatty, and salty but I gotta say it is delicious. Great for hangovers. The fried rice and chicken nuggets are my favorites. The ginger tea and their milk tea are decent, some of the better options in the area. Service is a hit or miss, it can get really busy so I get it.
