I think they have changed owner, and everything is disaster now. We have sit down and order food already but we’re asked to change sit because they need to fit more ppl. Waitress has no idea about the menu. Don’t even know the difference of Salmon carpaccio and Salmon tartar. Chef knife skill is non-sense, chopped ginger and cucumber are thicker then the chopstick. Don’t even want to mention the sushi. Absolutely will not come back.
I usually go to Sushi House after a long day in Richmond or if I am too lazy to return to vancouver. There are a lot of lunch set combos which are pretty cheap but they are really good. The Tonkatsu is good and the donburis are a lot cheaper than some other places. Their aburi is one of the best I have had and their udon and soba are both great. Surprisingly when I went on Sunday at 12 pm there weren’t a lot of people.
Food was really bad and not fresh. Not going there again. Not sure why they had two teenagers making sushi but rice wasnt sticky. Overall experience not good.
Great sushi, although I have a little problem with the restaurant open on Sunday cause good sushi restaurants are closed on Sundays. Reason is cause fresh fish isn’t delivered. But sushi, noodles, and rice bowls are delicious.
