BEWARE! THIS IS THE WORST KIOSK AT THE ABERDEEN FOOD COURT! We ordered spicy chicken and was charged $ 10.00 for half a plate of chicken bones ( leg joints, neck bones, skin on ribs, wing tips ). I did not want to believe it, thought it must have been an oversight. Took the plate back and respectfully asked for some chicken meat in place of the bone parts. BIG MISTAKE! These people were RUDE, very unfriendly. Decided they did not speak any English when initially they did. I asked for a refund and was not given one. DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE! WORST at the ABERDEEN FOOD COURT! Older guy was very RUDE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Ordered the half chicken and got bones and peppers. That’s it. $10 down the drain. It didn’t even have flavour. Just spice. Even then it wasn’t even that spicy. In addition the lady had the audacity to tell me that my order didn’t come with the sauce they had on the counter. So now I’m returning the favour because I have a bone to pick with them. This is the worst place in aberdeen food court.I made an account JUST so I could warn others, and I’m usually a laid back person. That’s how bad my experience was.Never go here. There are far better options. I’m just waiting for them to close down and for a better place to pop up.
Super authentic and the auntie is always so nice. The noodles have a good texture, and there is a decent amount of sichuan peppercorn in the sauces. The peppercorn is the star, and can only be imported from China, which is probably why you don’t get a lot of meat in your noodles.
I ordered the hot and sour noodle with 3 level spice. Mind you I’ve developed a higher tolerance for spice, with the help of my girlfriend. I wouldn’t suggest this item for people who aren’t experienced in spice. If your use to Cantonese cooking I would recommend the beef noodle with one level spice. There’s a salty sweet heat. Would I go back again?… Yes I’m curious about the spicy wontons if they make them in house. 🙂
Hot and sour noodle soupSUPER SPICY ALERT! This was definitely not one of the favorites of the table. We didnt end up finishing it and all you could really taste when you ate it was heat on more heat. I couldnt detect any depth of flavor or anything else. eatmunchlove.com
