It is a very cozy place with nice view. The service is good and it is not necessary to go smart, so you can go after skiing. A pitcher of beer is strongly recommended. The menu offers sophisticated and simple dishes, but very tasty.

We had lunch with the clouds. Beautiful view of Vancouver. Food was good we ordered frites steak which was flavorful & seafood pasta was just ok. Yet Service was EXTREMELY VERY POOR!

Great place to lunch on grouse! Delicious food- love them deep fried pickles! Amazing view of course. But awful coffee. My waitress was also nice but the other staff members didnt seem as friendly.

Poor service, dirty floors and table. Food was Cisco good….. A complete let down. View was what made the memory bank.

Two thumbs up. I brought some friends up to Grouse Mountain a couple of sundays ago, and we had a great time! Although visiting the bears and wolves were the highlight of my day, Altitudes Bistro was a close second. The view from the patio was exquisite and the service even better. Megan was our server and she was very friendly, relaxed, and knowledgable regarding the menu. She said that she had been serving for a number of years and it definitely showed. Our food was also delicious… menu could have a few more options, but we were still very impressed with our experience, overall.WIll definitely be back!

So Much Potential. We did the grind mid week 530 start, into the bistro just before 7. 4 of us.kind of half full, like some other reviews our server was just not that sharp.Took a bit to get our drink order. got drinks ordered, food took at least 20-25 minutes. I suspect she may have batched a couple of tables and punched them all in at once which means the first table gets punched in 5 min or more after they ordered. It is possible the kitchen may have been under staffed as well. It was getting busier and almost full. There did seem to be a fair number of service staff on the floor. No floor manager that I could see and this could be the root of the problem. We wanted another round but it took a bit before I could flag our server down.Ordered the Flatbread, Calamari, Fish tacos & Power Salad. The salad was the star. Flatbread was good a bit salty( bagged pesto?) Tacos were ok, Tacofino is better.Calamari was good but a little salty, the Remoulade was quite good.Again had to flag her over to get the bill.Hopefully this is not how things run on a busy Saturday night?Especially when this issue keeps coming up in review after review.Great Room, Atmosphere, Killer View just need to crank up the training and supervision on the floor then you’ve got something we can all get behind. We’ll be back for round 2 when the Purgatory’s open.
