A1 is an off the beaten path, little known place. Their falafel is great – packed full of flavour with every bite, fresh, and a great value for a quick lunch. The bathrooms and decor left little to be desired however I would most certainly return because of the quick and friendly service and hot fresh eats.

I spent over 10 years trying to find a good donair in the lower mainland after living in Edmonton for a year. Could not find anything I could put on the same level as Home Style Donair & Sub in Edmonton. Then my buddy showed me this place. It’s absolutely amazing. Get the beef or chicken donair with garlic sauce and hot sauce. You will not be disappointed.

A1 coffee & donuts. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a line out their door after trying out one of their spicy chicken donairs. it was a steal at $3.50 (on special from the already dirt cheap price of $4.35) and tasty too. figuring the donairs would be small, i ordered an extra one for myself-but that wasn’t the case. they were similar in size to the donairs being sold across the street for double the price. ordering was a little confusing tho cause they offer 3 types of donairs; donairs on a bread bun (weird!), in a flour tortilla wrap, or in a pita (the way i had it). service was chilly but at these prices, who cares?? we’ll be back for sure

Terrible donuts. Havent tried any of the food here and probably wont because it dosent seem very clean and all the equipment is VERY old. and the menu is sad. i have tried the coffee and donuts and they are both terrible. this place is always filled with middle eastern regulars that just sit right outside the front door chain smoking and drinking coffee ALL day. there is a law about smoking close to entrances yah know?. ive lived very close to here for 4 years and i can say the only people i see eat there mostly are highschool kids that go there for cheap fries.

Very tasty. Their chicken (w)raps are delicious and my husband loves their falafels.
