Rolls were great, yakitori was was larger than I’ve ever had. Got sashimi box, great value, teriyaki chicken was excellent. Only thing was I ended up with diarrhea afterwards, but I can’t be certain it was from the meal. Either way, it was worth it, I loved it.
Despite just opening, my best friend and I make an effort to go regularly, and with good reason too. They put the best quality into everything they make. From the rolls to soups to boxes, the value is undeniable. The staff are all inviting and really sweet, but not vast enough to feel disconnected either. The level of care they have is inspiring, going as far as taking spice shakers out of the kitchen and leaving them with you just to make sure you’re 100% satisfied. Price-wise it’s also very affordable, whoever claimed it’s $25 to eat for 2 people probably just couldn’t stop ordering their Spicy Tuna Rolls (it almost melts in your mouth). Would absolutely recommend to any fan of sushi in surrey.

Went to Sushi Rei for lunch today with my daughter. It was so great. Food so fresh and tasty ! The staff are all so nice. We will be going back.
We have been going to Zen Sushi to support our local restaurants. The last two times we ordered it took 30 minutes for a simple order. Then I tried to order on a Tuesday night…no answer after 4 attempts so I drove over there and it was closed….not explanation….I attempted to order again tonight well before closing time and they said they were slow tonight so they were actually closed but they could make me some sushi but nothing from the kitchen. A flyer was delivered recently which I saved. It’s a block away from Zen Sushi. They accommodated my order immediately. It was ready in 15 minutes. It was fantastic. I will definately recommend them to anyone in my neighbourhood.
This new sushi restaurant just opened. I gave it a chance and they have exceeded my expectations. It’s a hidden gem. The sashimi is fresh & the rolls are delicious. The bento box is such a good value. My new favourite spot for sushi!
