We went to celebrate our anniversary. The place is old and dated, the girl who seated us seemed like she was high on drugs totally out of it and moved so slow. The menu is over priced and not a lot of selection, there are other places to go that are far better
We really enjoyed the food We’ll be back for sure !
Never again. From the minute i saw the menu and the prices i knew this was not for me. the menu is dated and overpriced. the restaurant itself is stuffy and dusty. nothing on the menu is any type of excuse for healthy or even fresh. i had mussels and a salad. the mussels came in a marinara sauce with dried herbs and commercial pre-grated parmesan cheese. the mussels werent fresh and gave me an upset stomach the next morning. salad drowned in dressing. service was nice, but unfortunately i dont dine out for the service. i will not return. the food was sub par to say the very least.
Where everyone knows your name!. I’m a semi regular at the Vita and highly recommend the lounge if you want a nice, friendly place to have a drink, and a well priced meal. I can;t comment extensively on the menu as I generally stick to the Souvlaki but at $10.95 I can tell you it is very good and hard to beat at that price. The mussels and mushroom caps are pretty good too as far as appys go. If your uncertain just ask the servers, they’ll generally tell you if what your ordering is good or not. It’s just that kind of a place. Some here have commented on the dated decor but I wouldn;t change a thing there. It all adds to the ambience and friendliness of the place. A very warm and friendly atmosphere. If you don;t beleive me pull up a bar stool some evening and check it out yourself. You’ll readily find warm friendly conversation from the regulars and staff at the Vita. I guarantee it.
This is my second time at this restaurant, and to be honest I hope it was my last. The service was slow and inconsistent. The food quality is brutal, and everything inside looks worn out and rundown. Despite all of this it remains a popular choice in Maple Ridge…each to their own I guess. In my opinion it’s best to skip Bella Vita and try somewhere else.
Wow, is this the 80’s?. Forest green, brass everything and light pink decor, excited yet? Well, it gets worse, the food is…how can I say…pedestrian at best. No originality in style or cuisine…if you can call it that. The chef must be bored or uninspired. You can get just a good a meal for way cheaper at ABC or The Pantry…I’m serious, give it a miss.
Not bad. Felt that the atmosphere was a bit too stuffy, the service felt way too formal for my liking but if you’re into that then it’s good. I got the roast beef and Yorkshire special and it was delicious!
