I used to go here regularly with my friends every morning before work. That is, until I noticed a precarious pattern in how the manager treated her staff and an unusually high turnover rate this establishment has had. None of the staff were there for more than 3 months and were all ill-trained. The service is slow at best. We stopped coming here when the manager’s friends came in and she referred to her staff as stupid and useless, and one of their girls broke down and cried after the manager berated her IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. I fail to see how this business is still up and running with such unprofessional management and turning over workers when the probationary period is up.
If you like white flour and white sugar then this is the bakery for you. If you’re into real food, organic, and natural – then as I’m doing I’d go somewhere else! Not overly impressed, time to upgrade with the times.

(If you eat meat all the meat is processed.)They have a great selections of fresh bakery items from bread to doughnuts, or any other sweet treat your tooth desires. Always friendly efficient service, very consistent. It’s nice to see an establishment that is still owner operated.The coffee…….not my favorite cup around, always seems too bitter with an excess of coffee grounds in the bottom of the cup.I would recommend this place overall. It’s about one of the nicest places in Maple Ridge to grab a fresh, affordable sandwich.
