A little more costly when told our total bill order, but good food-try the tuna tataki roll, really tasty! Delivered on time-our beef teriyaki was quite warm compared to other delivery (west ridge delivery). Worth a try!
The food is good… but quite overpriced, and service is absolutely terrible! Have been here a few times, and after our most recent visit, we won’t be going back. Save your money, go elsewhere!
It has taken a dive!. We used to be regulars here, all the time but the quality of food has taken a dive. The quality of the rolls and ingredients is not what it used to be and now we regulars some place else. I think Hamada needs to rehire their old chef and needs a new menu and use better quality sushi. So disappointing!
Service is bad, BUT FOOD IS AMAZING. I have been going to Hamada since it opened, seen many staff come and go, the food is always great, but lately the service, which has never been stellar has completely fallen to horrid. The waitress, if you can call her that, always has a rude look on her face and acts like you are wasting her time. Will not go back, I have given them chance after chance. I have brought lots of people there, I found a better place LA Sushi in Mission, the Service is acceptable and FOOD is AMAZING!!!!!!
Best experience!. I have been coming to Hamada for the past 6 years with my friends and family, every single time they seem to amaze me with the customer service and food. I have been to many Japanese restaurants in the Lower Mainland and Hamada takes the cake at the top of the food chain!
Do not eat here. I’ve eaten here numerous times and it’s usually pretty good. I also had the worst sushi I’ve ever had here. I called to complain and they said sorry and hung up.
Favorite sushi place in town.
