Pretty good sushi place for Maple Ridge. The prices are lower or at about the same than the other sushi places in Maple Ridge. The fusion rolls weren’t my favourite so I don’t get them anymore. I stick with the basic sushi rolls and their donburi’s. The Negi don is really good if you are a fan of negitoro maki’s. The seafood salad/sashimi salads are not very good. I tried them all once and won’t try it again. So if you’re looking for a place to get some filler/basic rolls like California roll, spicy salmon/tuna, salmon avocado rolls etc… then this is the place for you. They also have a variety of fusion rolls that are well priced that may be for you as well. Definitely worth checking out if you are in town!
Denis the owner and chef has an amazing talent for creating rolls that combine the taste of the fish with wonderful sauces and condiments as well a detailed attention to temperatures and textures. The value as well is excellent. Some of my favorites are Monkey Brains, Creamy Prawns, Kanaski Tempura. He is a true Chef!
Beautiful Restaurant, Delicious Food. I’ve been to Maple Sushi twice this month and I have been genuinely impressed by both occasions. This small restaurant is beautiful decorated. It looks traditional and modern at the same time, it’s great. The chao mein is amazing and the basic rolls taste great. The only problem was with the waiter. He was obviously new, but he forgot to give us the soy sauce plates and he seemed quite bored and uninterested in the environment. Great food and good price!
Damn good sushi. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a couple of months now since it opened and I’ve never had a problem with their service. The staff are friendly and they try their best to accommodate the guests. Their rolls (particularly their Ocean Dream roll) are made with fresh ingredients and a bang for your buck. I try to recommend all my friends to go there because the quality of the sushi is far better than some of the other sushi places in Maple Ridge.

From a guy who’s been to every Sushi place in town. #1 The rice is soft and moist! Most Sushi places have dry rice ruining the dish because you have to put more soy sauce on the rolls; a great sushi roll shouldn’t need soy sauce. #2 Happy inviting service!#3 Price! 5.95 for a Tokyo Roll which had 2 types of salmon and tuna in it! Best price and quality I’ve seen! Mark Johnson
