We recently moved to Maple Ridge and this is the first Chinese Food we have ordered. Difficult challenge with English on the phone and then when we opened up the order at home they got 2 items wrong. I called and went back to the restaurant to discover they had not started to prepare the correct dishes. Once I got agreement on what it was supposed to be they cooked the Shredded Pork with Garlic sauce and Spinach dish again. When I got home discovered they had given me Pork Belly with Cabbage. Called back and the wanted me to go back again, even when I said they should deliver the correct dish. The owner said to come in tomorrow to discuss. Do NOT order here. The food we did get was average at best…
Delicious curry beef brisket and Malaysia style fried rice! Place looks pretty new and clean, came by and lunch is only 7.50$!? Can’t believe it was so cheap and authentic chinese dishes. Definitely coming back.
Previous name was haney dragon, Seatown just opened not long ago. Their food is dilicious and authentic unlike western chinese food. I reccomend trying their curry.
Not a bad Chinese food place. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Chinese food restaurant in Maple Ridge (probably the 2nd best). Their food is alright, their soups are alright, everything was just alright. They do delivery, which is always a plus for me. Overall, decent enough food for its prices.
Terrible service. Have been ordering from here for over 10 years with nothing but good things to say until now (ownership changed). Placed an order for delivery on a Sunday night, was quoted 45min-1hour. After 1 hour and 20 minutes we called to find out where our food was… 1 hour and 30 minutes later, the owner called back and said food was being sent out now and they would take 20% off our order. When we said that wasn’t acceptable the owner laughed on the phone. Needless to say we cancelled our order and will not be ordering from them again.
Great food, well priced, good service. Had the hanahai chow mein, and special egg foo young with some egg rolls. tasty food, happy people, good service. will recommend.
Good Chinese. My family and I used to come here all the time, so I have fond memories of walking in and going to see the little koi pond right by the entrance. I also remember the waving cat at the desk that my brothers and I always wanted to take home. The food is good, but nothing special. I mostly liked coming here for the prices, because they’re much cheaper than other Chinese places I’ve been to. My favorite menu item (and I’m not sure if they still do this) was deep fried bananas and ice cream! SO GOOD. I had it once and I still tell everyone about it. I made up a song about it too that I still sing once in a while! Service was kind of slow too, but I stopped caring about it once the food arrived. Not the best food, but fun family outing.
