Last time I visited Coquitlam, my friend took me to have sushiat Sashimi Sushi. TheSashimi Sushiis located at Mall’s south gate near Scotia Bank. It’s very small store with 4 middle size tables. My friend loves the sushi there, so she introduces me about this restaurant. We’ve ordered bothTariyakiBeef combo and Chicken Teriyaki combo. TheTariyakiBeef combo came with miso soup. The food taste was decent. Comparing with other sushi restaurants, this place is so-so. Nothing is different. The sushi there was very simple roll with poor quality. It’s not very fresh. The miso soup is cold without tofu. The servers were friendly. The price is OK. food.belindajin.com
I’ve always loved and frequented this place over the years, but sadly, it’s gone down in quality. The Miso no longer has tofu in it, and the last order of sushi I had barely stayed together. The people who run it are lovely, and the Las Vegas rolls and teriyaki bento boxes are BOSS, but I’m taking a break after my last order. The sushi was all smooshed and soggy and the ingredients were poor quality and not fresh. I’ve noticed this has happened a few times since the new owners took over. Again, wonderful people, but obviously inexperienced sushi chefs. This was my go to spot for Japanese fast food, but unfortunately not as much anymore.

Like it a lot. I’ve been eating there for years. The food is much better then your average food court or supermarket packaged sushi. The prices are fair. The service is fast and the staff are friendly and open
100% gross.
Food court style.. Their prices are really low and there is a reason for that. Expect to get a lot of rice in your sushi. You are better off going across the street to Kirin Japan.
