While on holiday we had our last breakfast meal at Chuck and Kitty’s. Although hot inside they did try to cool things down with 2 portable air conditioners. The service was very friendly and efficient. Rainbowcrab went classic and had 2 sausages with scrambled eggs and mutigrain toast. She loved it saying the sausages had a touch of maple flavor. She also said the coffee was good and strong. I went with the special of eggs benidict served on a fresh made Belgium waffle. It came with these amazing thin slices of bacon and homemade hollandaise sauce. The cost is cheaper than other places in the area. It was a perfect end to an amazing stay at harrison hot springs.
Solid above average breakfast cafe and lunch spot. Had a great breakfast with my partner here yesterday. Quick solid service, great omelet and English breakfasts and friendly atmosphere. It’s not fancy but does what you’d want of a cafe well with little extras such as fresh fruit salad as a side taking it we’ll above the mainstream. Good job!
Great food and the best service of any place we tried in Harrison. No wonder it was so busy! Try the Blueberry Baked Oatmeal. Yum.
Prices were normal for the area. Very slow service – make sure your not in a hurry. Food was mediocre.
Terrible service. During breakfast it was difficult to even get a cup of coffee, our waitress was inattentive to say the least. We were moved to another table during our visit, after having been served our coffee finally, condiments were not delivered in a timely manner and were then quickly removed during our meals to serve other customers. The food was okay, but did vary in quality from dish to dish. The eggs were under-seasoned, potatoes seemed to be seasoned with generic ‘Italian’ dry mix and seasoning salt. And to be located in such a charming Canadian town, it was disappointing to be served ‘pancake syrup’ out of individual McDonalds style containers.
Walked all over Harrison looking for an interesting place for lunch. Nothing stood out, so as we were heading back to the car we stumbled upon Chuck & Kitty’s off the beaten path. Diners outside we’re eating an appetizing looking soup and sandwich, so we went inside. It was nearly full on a spring weekday while the others were barren. My wife ordered a green salad for 7.50. It was fresh, large, and very appetizing. I ordered a grilled ham & cheese sandwich on focaccia with a cup of red pepper soup. Both were delicious. I’m glad we passed up all the alternatives.
Average Mom and Pops. Went for lunch, not bad, a bit over priced but average for Harrison.. Had quiche and soup,
