The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory was a sort of pit stop for a sweet treat, after daughter and I had finished a long walkabout (of beach walks and promenade, walkways along the Miami River and adjacent areas), during the afternoon of a late-June stay in Harrison this year.After some browsing, she decided one of the candied apples would be best something sweet, but nutritious as well and selected one of their caramel-topped apples. She accepted the offer to have it sliced up, which made it perfect for the two of us to eat and enjoy on the walk back to our hotel.A well-made, enjoyed treat after all that earlier exercise!

4 waffle cones, coconut, caramel pecan toffee, chocolate mint and a mango! They were all so good!! Generous scoop of ice cream in a crispy thing waffle cone!
The store is super cute and when you first walk in the scent of chocolate and sugar hits your nose. I got the sea salt hazelnut chocolate clusters. Wow. I recommend then if you find yourself at this destination. My dad also got a ginger cane dark chocolate bark, which he said was a surprising flavour, but it was good. Don’t bother trying it if you don’t like ginger or going out of your comfort zone.
