Pretty disappointing. It’s been there for many years. Thought I’d give it a try. Dropped in for lunch. Service dreadful. What on earth are they thinking? Quality of sushi okay. Preparation of sushi unimpressive. In looking at the menu, price of sushi high considering this is a ‘non-Japanese’ owned and operated restaurant. Would I go back. No.
They need to get a liquor license.
GREAT FOOD, CUTE PLACE. This is a great little sushi place in Edgemont VIllage. The food is always fresh and the quality is superb! This is a small owner-operated business that goes out of its way to try and please its customers. I’ve never had a bad meal there.
A favourite for sure!. Unpretentious and good quality, Nobu is the only sushi place we eat at regularly – we prefer to eat in, sit at the bar and chat with the owner. You won’t be waited on hand and foot (it’s just him and his wife) but to reply to another reviewer, it’s easy to ask for what you want! The quality is worth the price, plus we prefer to support small businesses; rent in the Edgemont area is HIGH and traffic can be low. If one of us is stopping in, we’ll almost always take some away for the other so nobody misses out! (Tonight I was surprised with yam roll, dynamite roll, spicy tuna roll, and rainbow roll – yum!)Their miso is the BEST thing on a cold day (or any day) and their yam roll and spicy tuna are staple orders.
GREAT!. Cute little sushi place in edgemont. Limited space, but most regulars and alot of people seem to order take out and it seems like its their main source for their restaurant. Food is great, i loved the presentation. Try their kamikaze and yam roll! will definately come back again
Nobu – No Go!. Very overpriced mediocre food.Limited seating. There are very few dining options in Edgemont Village.Would somebody PLEASE open up a good old fashion diner there?
Overpriced. Great location, but it would get a LOT more business if it was priced more competitively. Food is good, but the service is really lacking.
