A delicious sandwich indeed! Looked up places to eat last minute and wanted to try the pork belly sandwich to see what it was all about, and was not disappointed! I thought the sandwich itself was kinda small, but appreciated that they were fair with the meat. I really enjoyed the crispy and juicy pork belly, it was seasoned well and left me wanting more.

Outstanding for a Sandwich Place!. My husband and I went to this place after doing the Grouse Grind. The sandwiches are amazing if you like meat – pulled pork, jerk chicken, smoked Italian sausage, turkey – super selection with fresh avocado and mango and lovely spiced dressing served on a freshly baked chabbiata bun! There is an optional side salad or soup with a half a sandwich which is perfect too for $10. A glass of cold beer on tap is $6 and there is a nice selection of fancy rootbeer and lemonades too. Enjoy!
I had the Chipotle pulled pork sandwhich which was quite delicious and the meat was heaping. Next time I will ask for it to be just a little less spicy…it was a tad too spicy. Eat it while its hot otherwise your bottom bun might get a bit soggy. I will definetely try this place again. 🙂
First time going to The Meatery and LOVED it! Great food. Great atmosphere. I had the turkey sandwich… But, by the looks of them all, you can’t go wrong!
The Meatery. Have been going here for awhile now, and with good reason. The sandwiches, especially the Short-rib, are exceptional. No tiny fare here; everything is in heaping portions, and is well worth the $10/sandwich. Also, had the best soup I’ve ever had in my entire life, the Broccoli Stilton (sp?). Thoroughly impressed, highly recommend. I still need to try the dinner menu, too!
