Home Restaurant was the venue chosen for our first breakfast during a late-June, two-night stay in Hope.We arrived about 7:45 am, and the restaurant was already buzzing with several customers being located on Old Hope Princeton Way, its a handy spot for travellers passing through the area and really not wishing to go into downtown.We chose a table by the front window, and received prompt and friendly/courteous service.The food ordered:farmers sausage and eggs for Mom, french toast w/blueberries for daughter, breakfast sausage and eggs for me.The food presentations were fine, and portions quite large, but preparations missed the mark a little – especially the much-overcooked sausages.Service was good, ambiance fine, but we left the restaurant feeling a little disappointed with quality of the food preparations.
