I try to stick to the vegetarian options for health reasons, but I do love their wild sockeye salmon sushi and rolls. Bay Sushi’s rice is flavored in such a way that it is neither too sweet nor sour. I take the time to chew and to digest the food, to really taste what I am eating, and the mix of mild flavors is really wonderful. Did I mention their miso soup? It’s a legend, at least to my taste buds…
Sushi are surprisingly small in size. Way too tiny! But the bill is nice and big. We used to come here once in a while on our visits to Horseshoe Bay and the distance between the two, tiny sushi and the large bill, was always noticable but recently it turned into amusement so we stopped coming here all together.
Bay Sushi is a must visit sushi bar if you happen to be in Horseshoe Bay. The reason their sushi tastes great is because of their uniquely seasoned sushi rice, which is the best. This place is a Horseshoe Bay tourist destination in its own right.
I was visiting Horseshoe Bay and came across Bay Sushi. I’ve been to many sushi places, but Bay Sushi’s seasoned rice was really tasty. The combos A, B, and C are good options. Highly recommended place in Horseshoe Bay.
Bay Sushi is a favorite stop every week for sushi. Delicious, fresh rolls, sashimi, and sushi. I order the party trays with extra rolls for family gatherings.
Quaint sushi place with decent food and average sushi prices. Though their rainbow roll was not what I expected it to be, it still tasted good and the smoked salmon did not overpower the rest of the flavours. It was also a lot of pieces for myself. Also, the couple who run it are very nice.
I’ve been coming to Bay Sushi in Horseshoe Bay as a regular for the past few years. Their take-out service has been consistently dependable, in terms of the freshness of the ingredients and taste. Whenever I have a large gathering of friends or relatives I make sure to order a party tray from this place.Their sushi rice is among the best I’ve tasted; the secret is in their sushi sauce, I can’t seem to replicate it on my own! The long time chef is also the owner, and seems really keen on maintaining the high quality of his fish and other ingredients. The restaurant itself is small, but it’s a neat place that feels very welcoming. I guess that’s why I keep coming back every week or two weeks for my fix of sushi.
