The Creole Jambalaya was incredible, the prawns were cooked perfectly and it had a nice kick to it. The beer selection on tap was amazing I had a hard time trying to choose one. So many local beers! Love this place!
This is the place to be. If you are a local or a traveler these two guys, Peter and Shane will make sure you are well looked after and you will absolutely return
New tapas menu includes deep fried cauliflower. Little grease sponges. Never again. The deep frying oil must be really old. Dark brown dripping off the cauliflower and rancid. Beer fantastic. They didn’t make it I guess.
Very disappointed, the clam chowder was bland and my onion rings tasted funny. Service was fine. Lunch menu is limited and they do not serve from the dinner menu until after 2 pm. Would not go back there
Right next to horseshoe bay ferry terminal so great for some dinner before boarding the ferry, which has crap food. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the fish as it’s right on the harbour. The fries were a small portion too. Still better than ferry food any day of the week.
As someone who passes through Horseshoe Bay often, this was the first time I was able to get a seat – it’s always busy it seems. A decently laid out bar with a view to a TV everywhere, this place would be a great place to watch a game. Food wise, my wife and I ordered the Mac & Cheese – a fantastic dish. Not only is it a good sized portion, it’s reasonably priced and full of flavour. Definitely a must have! leftcoastbydesign.ca
A very pleasant surprise. Too bad we didn’t check this place out earlier, since we live in the area. The service was good, the atmosphere fun (pub-like with a hockey game on), the beer was cold and the highlight was the giant yorkshire pudding with mash, roast beef and vegetables. All elements on the plate were delicious and well cooked (i.e., vegetables not overcooked). In fact, we are about to go back to order it again. Also, the menu is extensive, which is nice. Looking forward to trying other menu items. Also, it’s great to be able to buy take-away wine or beer. We have been driving farther out for this, not knowing that they sell this here. Well done.
