Tried this pub for a change on our stopover after a difficult hike. We both ordered Fish and Chips and Clam Chowder soup. The restaurant was not busy so were seated right away. The staff are friendly and the place was very nice. The Clam Chowder was good, the coleslaw have a bland taste due to lack of dressing. Fries were okay but a bit smaller in serving size. The Cod Fish was okay, a bit of smaller in size and bit of greasy. The tartar sauce has a bland taste.
Love everything about this place. The atmosphere is super laid-back and the food is what I consider comfort food at it’s best! Also, the craft beer selection is really good! Close to the ferry, transit and the water. Definitely a must check out.
Just ate the beef dip with a poutine and it was delicious. Started with a dragon boat tuna which is to rave about. With a huge selection of beer wine to offer and off sales for liqour, a perfect stop on your way to the ferry. My waitress Anna was a delight and would stop by next time I’m taking a ferry out of Horsebay.
