They suck!. Never again! After paying $25 for the Assam Curry Mixed seafood($13.95 TAKE OUT!), the $8.50 eggplant special (not listed on their menu anyway so I don’t know what the regular price is!) and plain steamed rice I asked for a foil container so I could put it into a convection oven at home. They wanted 25 cents more! The woman at the front has SOME attitude! The seafood curry was blah, had FOUR pieces of fried tofu puffs(for bulk) and negligible amounts of seafood. NEVER AGAIN!! I’m so disappointed as it looked like a nice alternative in Richmond. Tropika, here I come, AGAIN!

Just looked at the menu….dun understand which part is Malaya style…No roti, no satay skewers, no haka chicken, no coconut ingredients in any dishes….what Malay is there??, i dunno. I dun think i would try it.

Worst Malaysian food in Vancouver. This is the worst Singaporean/Malaysian food I ate in Vancouver. The Laksa Lemak is watery, no curry taste, only few pcs of dried shredded chicken, shrimps. The Sambal green beans is not Malayian style, tastes like Shanghainese fried green bean. As I am Chinese and lived in Singapore for many years, I can tell this is NOT authentic Malaysian, Singaporean and Chinese cuisine, something like grandma home cooking. Definitely not worth the price. For rating I give Banana Leaf for 7 points, and this one is 2.5 points.

Enjoyable. I have the sambal green beans and the nasi goreng. The beans were fantastic- the rice was above average but not as fantastic. I’d come back here without hesitation- I’d like to try more of the food as my meal was superb.

Good malaysian food with a chineese edge to it. Haven’t found anything I don’t love on the menu yet. 10% off for cash purchases as well. Best take out in the area.

Home made taste. Not too greasy. Will try again. Note: they no longer the skewers or roti on the menu

Wonderful. Well it replaced an old Chinese delivery and what a great surprise. The cleaning that they did firstly was truly remarkable ( over a week of scrubbing ). Now lets talk food wow it was amazing this little place could put out food that was very delicious and so cheaply priced, from the hot and sour soup to the wonton soup and the rice dish’s were fantastic and lets not get me started on the wonderful spicing just enough heat to make it taste and not burn your mouth ( or other parts later ). If you enjoy a variety of Asian dish’s you need to try this place out. I am certain that you are going to keep coming back $ value is out of this world, you just need to try it once to get hooked ( and I love to cook so ) and you’ll keep making excuses not to cook sometimes and did I mention the prices are way to low for the yummy size ( very large ) you get. The dinner for two was more like dinner for the next night also. lou
