The food here was really good. I love that their soup of the day is bottomless! The service was a little on the slow side, though it was packed, the server could have done more to check in on us and be more prompt with brining us menus and our cheque.
Great patio for chillin and people watching. Very good Happy Hour. Menu has lots of choices and well priced. Nicely up dated from the old Swiftsure
Wow!!! Amazing!!! Plenty!!! went out alone to get a bite and ordered the soup, Man was I delighted to see this? YES!!! and the service was so good… really genuine staff… helped me around with the new city i was in as well.
great fresh and local ingredients. Best value and service we have had here yet. Other more precocious places charge more for essentially less. Sunday Caesar and the Mamma Mia breakfast was so tasty. In house made sausage and farm fresh eggs? Not fancy but really solid and comfortable. If you rate it any less your too picky or just looking for reasons to complain.
Good food…priced right ….and excellent servers Shall return!!!….Shall be really happy once the patio opens up again for the summer….
Service is extremely lacking here. Went for wings night. One person in our group had their wings within 10 minutes but for the other 7 another 50 mins later were still waiting for wings nachos and rib bites. This is not the servers fault so much as the kitchens fault but the server might have taken note and acted proactively rather then after we complained. One of our group had to leave so left hungry due to the wait time. They did comp all the food which was nice, but pretty indicative of them acknowledging the problem. Another note: I’ve had wings here before at full price. The orders on wing night are smaller and the wings are smaller. This doesn’t really make it a ‘deal’ but rather a ploy to get people into their bar. Us wing enthusiasts notice this type of play. If you are into wings there are far better wing specials in town at many other pubs. Check Upper Deck, Monkey Tree, even The Flying Otter is a better bet. In closing I don’t dislike this bar, the food is decent and the servers are mostly pleasant but they need to get their you know what together behind the scenes judging by some of the other reviews on here.
Waited twenty minutes to flag down a server. Waited 10 min for drinks, one with chips in the glass. Left when we found out dinner was going to take another 1/2 hr. Service sucked, can’t comment on the food.
