Good food, good prices, good service.. I came here several years ago with elderly relatives and wasn’t really impressed. Maybe my priorities have changed, or maybe they changed up the menu a bit, but these days I really like it. With the 2-for-1 coupon they put in a couple of local papers it’s a pretty good deal, and the food is really good. The halibut burger comes with a nice sized piece of fish, enough that you’d feel it was a fair deal for $16 even without using one of their coupons. The beef burger, clubhouse, etc, are all excellent. Nothing particularly special or noteworthy, but good solid food.I’ve only really tried the pub grub – they’ve got other entrees, mostly in the $20-$25 range. I just stick with the $12-$18 pub & sandwiches menu when I go.

Hoping the food is better than the Bent Mast of 5 yrs ago where I’d often visit for beer (but the food sucked) I just looked at the menu, figure ill go for a burger or wings and report back. But $16 for Halibut burger and $14 for stuffed mushroom caps.. Won’t be ordering those items 😉 back later with review.
Decent food for a reasonable price. The decor is dated but clean, but friendly atmosphere, but noisy. Great place to take aging parents as they will be in good company here!
We really enjoyed the selection, and the $20 menu special offers huge portions including appetizer and desert! The two ladies could have easily have shared one. Will come again soon.
Decent enough. Went to the dinning side rather than the pub with my mother. The options were plentiful. We chose to split a clubhouse sandwich (hold the extra bread) For a side it came with options of soup, salad, etc. I also ordered a bowl of the seafood chowder. It tasted really good. But I was a little disappointed that I had a couple of blobs of the thickener in it. I liken those blobs to chef snot and so it sort of freaks me out. But it wasn’t so bad that I felt the need to give them a cooking lesson. The sandwich was good. Our server noticed that the sandwich had hardly any cranberry mayo so she brought more on the side. Very observant and thoughtful of her. And mmmm bacon.Over all I would recommend the JBI
My food was great, Beer was cold, Service was promt and friendly. And I won 20$ on keno! What more could you ask from a pub? I had the grilled chicken burger w/ blue cheese and cajun spice. Tasty!
Quiet pub. A nice quiet pub in a quiet neighbourhood. Food is OK, not fantastic, the choice of beer on tap is a bit short, but still a nice place to stop by
