Decent tex mex, slightly pricey. Don’t come here expecting authentic Mexican food. I ordered the black bean quesedillas, which were served promptly and actually quite delicious. But there probably are fancier, more affordable options in town. I only came here because it was less than a block from the hotel, I assume that’s why most of the clientele is here as well.
We moved to James Bay from N. Saanich 3 months ago. Santiago’s is one of our favourite places. We’ve been there 4 times, twice just the two of us when we were moving & twice w/ friends. The food had been wonderful & the service excellent – we certainly will frequent it.Gail Muzio
Consistently good service at Santiago’s and a great food selection. Personal favorite’s include the always fresh and delicious ceviche (fantastic when you’re really hungry but want something lighter and filling) and the chipotle mussels. Despite minor fluctuations in the ceviche size, this place is consistent and always nice to visit for friendly service and good meal. One of my top 5’s! I cannot speak to much of the menu items, but my favorite’s are always good and this is what keeps bringing me back. That, and the servers always make us feel welcome and are efficient at their jobs.
Great food!. Found this by chance yesterday while in Victoria. Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Kind of funky and delightful wait staff. Will definitely go again.
Dated, terrible, inauthentic. I feel like im being whisked away tl the 90’s when I come in here. The food is horrid an inauthentic, service was ok, but for what theyre charging? Ill go somewhere else thanks.
