Beer is expensive and the foods not bad. They have a good quiz night here and its an interesting place to come. The best not the worst. Definitely worth checking it out if youve never been though.
I see mixed reviews here from very good..to rotten..which indicates to me that it is a hit and miss chance depending on several factors I guess. Now I must say that I like to give benefit of the doubt but …holy crap….was the food ever the shits!!!! I ordered the fish and chips. It was inedible really. The fish being frozen, had the fishy fishy off taste.. and the batter was like a hard dry paint rag soaked in stale oil. The fries were grainy and oily. Everything was …OILY .Naturally I brought the whole matter to the owner. He was very polite and apologetic and asked for suggestions. I told him what I thought. He never offered to replace the meal. Never offered any compensation. Just got the full bill…I never ate the dinner. Will not be returning.
