I love Banh Mi! This place in the Guilford T&T food court offers the Vietnamese sub sandwichs. All though not the best I’ve ever had, its a convenient stop on my way home from work. They have improved their bread (crucial) recently, which helps. I usually go for the cold cuts and special. I’ve had better meat ball elsewhere.
I was never one to crave for a banh mi until my man took me to get a few from here .. I have been changed ever since and no other banh mi can do justice. They have 11 options, but my usual order would be the #10 shredded pork banh mi. The bread is always crisp, just the perfect amount of nguc mam inside the roll to prevent the sandwich from being overly dry (which tends to happen with the shredded pork sometimes), then topped with crisp julienned pickled radish and carrot, cilantro and optional jalepeo slices.
I didn’t realize that this place had become a mini-chain over the last few years. I’ve been coming here forever and LOVE the sandwiches. This is one of the Best Banh Mi you’ll ever have. Period. (!) The seasoning is perfect and the meats are done just right. A word of advice though, stay away from the Salad Rolls and non-Banh Mi selections. They just aren’t as good.
Great Sandwiches. Sandwiches are fresh and an awesome bun . The spring rolls are hot and crunchy . Salad rolls are made fresh while you wait and very filling , ask for peanut sauce no spice.
Tasty sandwiches. Nice traditional Vietnamese sandwiches served on French baguettes. They have the regular selection available. Tasty and fresh. Just remember to give them a few minutes to prepare what you would like.
