Worst sushi ever!!!! So disappointed, my vegetable tempura was mainly mushrooms, should have been called mushroom tempura. My California roll was very small a cut thin only had 6 pieces, many other sushi places I have been are either bigger pieces or more pieces. My spicy salmon roll was patchy with the rice many blank spots. Overall terrible and I will never be returning not worth the cost. I’m now at McDonald’s getting something for my wife and I to fill us up and write this review!

Sushi from heaven. The sushi here was fresh and tasty, their attention to detail surprised me, i must say this is on par with some high established sushi restaurants from Downtown Vancouver. The staff was friendly and it seemed very authentic. Overall I would highly recommend this place, it’s a must try for a true sushi dining experience.

I’m not sure why this place has such a high rating which is why I tried it out in the first place. The service is fine but the food is just average. Definitely overpriced for sushi that isn’t all that special. I would not return because of the price and average tasting sushi-there are better places in the neighbourhood.

If you love yourself, don’t go here. Save your money and time and go to other nearby better yummier places like sushi California, sushi train and Guildford sushi. This is the worst possible place you can go to in the area. Servings are small and it’s expensive. Like very small… It took them a while to make three rolls… I mean there service wasn’t bad but the rolls were bad.. they didn’t taste good, they were expensive and they were tiny!!!

Horrible customer service.. My colleges and I went for sushi for lunch for farewell get together. They all ordered lunch boxes except me because I had medical reasons. So I ordered misso soup. After 10 minutes the server came to our table and said; if you are ordering only misso soup we can’t serve you! ( that was an direction from the owner) I asked the owner of the restaurant why you can’t serve me the soup only? He replayed; the utensils, server time, and dish washing cost more then misso soup! So he lost about $50 of order and loyal customers. I will never return to this place!

Top quality sushi. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the town of surrey. The food is a bit on the pricey side but it’s worth every penny because the sushi literally melts in your mouth since it’s so fresh. Friendly and attentive service as well. I come here time to time when I’m craving for good sushi.

Aburi Toro. Perfectly seared melt in your mouth goodness09 Dec, 2014Best Sushi in the Greater Vancouver Area!. My husband and I ate here last night and everything was just spot on perfect! We make a trip down to Surrey just for this because you can’t really get the same quality of sushi that they offer here for the same price elsewhere. We ordered ankimo, which is monk fish liver. It had a bit of seaweed salad on the side and was just heavenly. Next we had the grilled gindara, which just melted in our mouths. They season and grill it to perfection! We also ordered a bunch of different nigiri – aburi toro, toro, saba, uni and chopped scallop. My most favorite one was the aburi toro. The sear on the fish just made the flavors come out. I literally closed my eyes while eating it… truly delicious. I would definitely have it as my last meal on earth!
