We ordered the Seafood Pho and Seafood Egg-noodle Soup. The soups were very flavourful and a good meal size. We were there for lunch and it was pleasant with all the natural light from the many windows and nice background music. Service was very friendly and professional.

Overpriced compared to other places with pho. The veggies in the salad roll didn’t seem very fresh (the lettuce was somewhat blackened, although it could be the type of lettuce) and the bean-sprout taste was excessive. Pho was pretty good, but it does have a strong herbal taste to it and otherwise doesn’t stand out. The meat was fatty, though slightly firm (would have liked it a bit more tender), but the tendon was rather chewy.

I just wish they were open later than 10PM…. My family loves coming to Pho Triple 8 for dinner… This place is 100% one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Surrey!!!!

Best pho, honestly. We go here at least twice a week. Owners are nice and although sometimes the staff gets our order wrong they are quick to fix the problem. This has got to be the best broth, and we have brought friends to try and they agree.

Looking forward to a large bowl of pho and that’s what I got. Ordered large rare beef and tripe bowl but when arriving at table, all you see is soup. There was so little meat and tripe that I had to add the bean sprouts so that my over cooked meat that was supposed to be rare was out of the broth. If you like to eat pho you get plenty of that when you order a large, I only ate half since there was so much. Broth was on the bland side, but not oily. Go elsewhere

Nice and clean Resturant. Highly recommend! The pho tasted great and the salad rolls were fresh and delicious. The service was great also.

Good fresh food in a nice clean space. I may be in the minority, but I wasn’t a big fan of the soup when it was known as Pho Nam Viet. I regularly come to Pho Triple 8 and I feel like the soup is way better than the previous owners. Yes, these owners are not affiliated with the previous ones at all, but they were friends from what they’ve told me. Decor: Very nice for a vietnamese restaurant! There 3 booths and a good number of tables. Very clean and it looks like they change their tablecloths with every season. Yeah…I go pretty often. Also the bathrooms are nice and clean, not dank and grungy like other places.Ambience: Sometimes it’s vietnamese music, randomly there’s been what I think was flamenco music, other times it’s top 20 but it’s never loud. Just in the background. I’ve never seen it fully packed, but they seem to get a lot of take-out orders. It seems like every time I’ve gone, there’s either been 3 tables to 7 tables going at one time.Food: The sandwiches, noodle, and rice dishes are very tasty and fresh. I’m a big fan of their bun bo hue (spicy noodle soup) as it’s very authentic and very different from the others I’ve tried elsewhere. Very fresh tasting and it isn’t covered in chili oil like many places seem to do, though they do have it on the table with some other condiments. Chicken wings are addicting, the salad rolls are standard…hard thing to mess up anywhere, and spring rolls are nice and crunchy and not oily. Nuoc cham (dipping sauce) is not too sweet or sour. A little chili would be nice, but that’s just my preference.Service: Service is just how I like it, very friendly and attentive enough to refill my drink but they understand I’m there for food, not conversation, though the owners are very interesting to talk to when I’m feeling extra friendly! If you’re in the area, you should definitely come check it out!
