My family of 6 visited the restaurant today for father’s day. simple decor, The food is good, but unfortunately small portions. price doesn’t reflect the portion size. the service was ok.we were surprised to find they placed 20% service charge on our bill. If they had mentioned that they put 20% service charge we wouldn’t have tipped them again. Save your money and go somewhere else this place is such a rip off.

Thank you for all your honest reviews – we listen to all of them and take your opinions and suggestions very seriously. I wanted to let everyone know that we have a new management team in place. We have the same 2 main Thai chefs since we opened – chef Saeng and chef Samlee. And recently, we have added a new manager and several new experienced servers. Hands down the best Thai Restraunt in Surrey. Excellent food, atmosphere and service make my family regulars at this gem. I highly recommend people try the yellow curry dish which my wife and I both love.
Found ourselves in the Guildford area and we decided to try Sabai Thai. We ordered the skewers (four pork and four chicken), the green curry and pad thai. The skewers were big, but they did not have much flavour and the peanut sauce was too watery. The curry was the best dish we ordered, the eggplant was really good and we were able to choose the level of spice. The pad thai was very average, but it wasn’t too oily, which was good because a lot of places serve very oily pad thai.Service is good here, prices are a bit high but portions are on the larger size.
This is my 2nd favourite Thai restaurant in bc. It’s a good yummy overall place the servers are nice, the food is good, there’s a tv and wifi. The tables and seats are nice too! They take credit, debit and cash. Sometimes it’s busy so maybe book a reservation.
Although I generally love their food (especially their basil fried rice,) their dishes are pricier than they should be! However, since I live nearby and is the closest place I can get decent Thai food (as the Thai fast food place in the mall is cheap but generally quite bleh) I keep coming back when I’m craving Thai. Service is very pleasant.
