I have been coming for the Laksa for years and I love it. A nice mix of ingredients, choice of noodles and a rich broth that always makes me happy. They have good combination specials with Hainanese chicken and curried brisket as well. I have never had an issue with the potato to brisket ratio as someone commented. Good value for tasty food. yeswereeatingagain.com

YL’s Curry Bowl is by far my favorite Malaysian/Singaporean cuisine store. I love their House Special Laksa, Hainanese Chicken, and Curry Beef Brisket on Rice – can’t pick my favorite, because it depends on my craving! Laksa soup has a really nice and rich flavor, unlike the watery type I’ve had in other restaurants. It’s mild to little bit spicy. You can ask for their special chili for extra flavoring. Hainanese chicken is tender, and it comes with two sauces on the side that compliment really well. Curry beef is also very tender, not too much fat – quality meat which I appreciate. The portion of curry may look little bit small for some people, but I can never finish it in one go; save the extra for another meal! It’s located in Surrey; a little bit far for me, but otherwise I would visit even more often. The food court closes around 7pm, so make sure you go early.
Good food but aside from the lunch combo and laksa, the portions are rather small and prices too high (if you just order curry without rice, for example). Laksa is great. Bowl looks small but it is a good portion. The Long Koong Chicken is pretty good but you can get a similar chicken at Henlong for half that price.Sadly they no longer have Char Kway Teow or fried vermicelli, which they had for many years.
Overpriced more bloody potatoes than meat. Ask for NO Potatoes they use as them as a filler in your order. Get what you pay for . Curry is decent but can be very oily at times, have them scoop meat from bottom to filter out the oil.
Great Hole-in-the-Wall. Secretly, the best curry in Guildford. The hainanese chicken is truly excellent. So are a number of other ‘specialities’ that they offer. A must-try for sure.
I worship their curry. Probably the best curry I have ever had. Although they are all fantastic here is my ranking of their dishers. Platinum Medal – BeefGold Medal – LambSilver Medal – ChickenBronze – Beef Tendon (not for everyone)The food is very filling too
