  The Horn of Plenty Cafe was chosen as our go to place for breakfast in late-June, after a 1-night stay in Harrison Hot Springs – we arrived just shortly before 8 am. We had stopped into the Cafe to give it, menu, and business hours a look-see the day before enjoyed a chat with the owner, sure liked what we saw, and decided it was definitely to be the place.The Cafe is cheerfully-bright, spotlessly-clean, small place, neatly decorated with many cool pictures, and other assorted fun stuff & such, and a fantastic collection of real plants, lining all the window ledges, and most any other spaces that permitted them to be placed there. We found the ambiance very welcoming.Our breakfast fare: house coffee all around, the classic breakfast for my lady and I (two eggs, w/hash browns and toast we went with scrambled eggs and sourdough bread toast) waffles, w/whipped cream and strawberries for daughter. Our dishes arrived from kitchen to table looking great, and preparations of each matched their good looks coffee was good, daughter sure enjoyed the waffles and their very fresh and cool toppings, and my lady and I marvelled over the potatoes (a quality variety had been used, and prepared in what I would call a home style, cut-up, not shredded, lightly-seasoned, and just plain delicious), eggs well-prepared, and a quality, and really flavourful sourdough bread had been used for the toast. Breakfast at Horn of Plenty was a fun and totally delightful dining experience.
