My favorite chocolatier in Vancouver. I have been here a couple of times. Quality premium chocolates, and the variety of flavours will suit anyone’s taste buds. They have the best caramel chocolates in the city.
I’ve only visited this place when the hot chocolate festival goes on, which is served with a piece of chocolate. Both are really delicious, and I think it’s a perfect portion to satisfy someone’s sweet tooth without going too overboard. Also, the flavors are very exotic; the chocolate that I tried had pieces of orange zest, salt, and a bunch of other things. The hot chocolate is the same; it’s like a party in your mouth 😛 Definitely worth the money.

Great designs. But chocolate and service was meh.. The title says it all. Very awesome designs and aesthetically pleasing, but the chocolate itself was decent, but a little oversold. You can get better for cheaper elsewhere around town.
Not good. Worst service ever, not even worth it. Purdy’s chocolate is better. Their choclate was stale and definitely not worth the price. You’re better off going to walmart and buying a box of smarties. Plus to add, their service was rude and I was extremely disappointed. They did not make it welcoming nor comfortable inside.
GEM chocolates are real gems…unique taste, flavour and form. If you have a palate for chocolate, this is the store to go. I purchased a few boxes for gifts this past xmas and they were a hit! But you should also treat yourself to the french designed truffles and chocolate covered nuts…choconuts!!! Yummm!!!
Must try Figaro!. First time visiting the shop and I was overwhelmed by the selection of chocolate. The owner kindly offered me a piece of Figaro to sample and I immediately fell in love with it! The cocoa nibs bring out an interesting twist to the chocolate.
