Came here on a Friday for lunch. The place was almost full but we got the last available table. We ordered the unagi roll, mango vegie roll, karage lunch combo and nabeyaki udon. The udon was quite good, not too salty, soft and somewhat chewy. The sushi roll was tasted good but they were quite small, just to set expectation.
Like everyone else has mentioned the service here is a disaster. The waitress was so rude and screamed at us when we asked when our food was going to come out. It was taking over an hour so we asked politely but the response we got was brutal.The food taste and portions are no better. There are several decent sushi restaurants in the neighbourhood but Irashai is not one of them. The taste was mediocre at best yet the prices were overpriced. It’s totally not worth it at all. The rolls, sashimi, and just about everything else come out in tiny portions but the prices are much more expensive than all the nearby sushi places. And seriously what is up with not being able to pay with debit or credit card for $15 or less. That’s some messed up scam…
