Cute little bakery store near my house. I really like how they have done up their interiors – there’s a nice bench, and some odds and ends such as a typewriter like machine that looks to be for accounts.They have a good mix of offerings, from fresh baked breads, to big cakes.I had their beef curry bun and chicken pot pie. Both were nice, though I liked the beef bun better.Service is usually nice and prompt; it can get crowded at times though, and they have a ticket based system to keep things organised.
Overly price and beware, they never give you a receipt because they could overcharged. I sensed it a few times but ignored it as they were always busy. Yesterday I was determined that I was overcharged and went back to the counter. Sure enough, she paid me back 80 cents. Always ask for a receipt as you never know what they are charging you. As it is, they are too expensive but out of convenience I go there occasionally. I hope another Chinese bakery will open in Kerrisdale.

MANGO CAKE. Fabulous mango cake! Nothing beats this light/airy sponge cake and fresh mangoes. My family has been buying their cakes, stuffed buns, and white bread (excellent for sandwiches) for more than 7 years. Always consistent.
I agree – its a bit pricey but their egg tart is a must-try.

The best portugese egg tarts!. I’ve been coming here for years. They have the best portugese egg tarts. All the other pastries, like the cake slices are very good as well. It’s a small place and when you come in you take a number, it can get quite busy at times. It is a bit expensive but you can tell they use quality ingredients.
