Don’t come here. Abusive towards customer. Police complaint filed against them. Food is unimpressive as well. Much better selections in Vancouver. Gives Pho a bad name.

came here after a refreshing light dinner on tokyo thyme and want to eat something soupy, so came here for a bowl of pho, overall there wasn’t anything that really is memorable about this place however, it have been here for a long time, the broth was okay, and the noodle/meat was okay as well. nothing stands out from my memory, but definitely decent bowl of pho mangkr.wordpress.com

I’ve been coming here for years (even when it was still Oasis) and it’s definitely a go-to if I’m in the area. Family-owned, small-medium-sized restaurant, but definitely packs a punch. Their broth is flavourful (I recommend the beef/chicken satay), andtheir spring rolls are always a favourite. They’re extremely busy during rush hour, but their service is usually on point. As with any restaurant, service may or may not lack in speed due to various reasons, but I’ve yet to have a bad experience here and I’m usually there during their busiest times.

The pho is good with generous portions. Soup base is flavourful. Nothing amazing here but its good choice if youre in the neighbourhood and crave something warm on a chill/rainy Vancouver day.

Somehow, despite living so close to it, yesterday evening was the first time I stepped foot inside Pho Tan’s. Being a cold rainy day, I was really looking forward to having some hot pho. Pho Tan’s was quite warm and cozy inside, neither too empty nor too crowded. We had gotten there around 8.10, and they close at 9. My friend and I got a Vietnamese sub and a large pho respectively. Although they seemed to rush us a bit while ordering – and we had some trouble explaining what we want to our server too – the food arrived within 5 mins. I really enjoyed the beef brisket and beef balls pho. Perfect for a cold rainy Vancouver day. My friend didn’t find the sub all that spectacular, but at $4.5, it’s a cheap meal. My large pho was for approx $10, but there was enough in it to feed me for 2.5 meals.Overall a fairly pleasant experience, but not the greatest service. It’s good to know that there’s a pho place within 15 mins of walking distance from my house, I’m definitely going there again. I’d like to try their curry rice dishes next time.Pro Tip #1: They close at 9, but they take the last order at 8.30.Pro Tip #2: No credit cards, but they do accept debit.

We were in Kerrisdale and craving Pho, there are two restaurants in the area so we chose Pho Tan’s Vietnamese. We ordered the large house special (15 A) and a salad roll. We’ve had our fair share of Pho, and this bowl of noodles ranks as one of the worst we’ve had. The broth had no flavour, and the meat did not taste fresh at all. The salad roll was even worse, as it was very stale and the noodles were tough to eat. We definitely will not be back.

The pho is decent price ok for Vancouver. They have an extra large serving which my friend got and its huge!!!!!I will come back to try the coconut milk based noodles. And their rice.
