Ate here today for lunch for the first time. Celebrating a special occasion. Very nice place, beautiful location. The look of the place and details are beautiful. Has a beautiful view of the lake as well.We ordered: glass of ehrenfelser and a glass of guwertraminer, oysters on the half shell, house made foccacia bread, artic char and house made pasta done vegan. The wine was really nice. We both preferred the ehrenfelser – very crisp, refreshing and kinda sweet. My fianc loved his oysters and artic char. We both loved the focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic and my pasta dish with tomato sauce and veggies was good, some extra fresh herbs for more flavour would be nice. The pasta was a tad chewy and that could be something that they prefer just like how some cooks like to cook their salmon still medium rare in the centre and some like it well done. Our server was very nice, friendly, helpful and served us with a smile. Overall the whole experience was nice. Beautiful sunny day, beautiful restaurant, beautiful view, great food and great service.

Great restaurant for pretentious hippies with more money than brains. My steak was tough and over-cooked, and the vegetables were undercooked. The server came with bread and my wife said she didn’t want any, so the server just took off. *I* wanted bread! She didn’t even ask *me*! That cut her tip by 1/3.If a restaurant yammers on about local food, what they really mean is that they will serve their customers an inferior local product instead of a superior non-local product, and charge them more for it. That was certainly the case for their beef.Good wine though.

Father’s Day Brunch. I still think they should find a way to be open for longer than the summer season. The food is delicious and the views are spectacular. This time around my family and I were treating my dad to a father’s day brunch. Unfortunately they close on Sundays around 2pm so brunch was the only option that day. The meal was delicious although I enjoy their savoury dinner options much more. They have acquired a new dessert chef and all desserts did not disappoint. everything from the chocolate triffle to the espresso torte and especially the creme brulee was as good as it gets. I recommend reservations and they are only open if the weather is good.07 Dec, 2011Delicious but weird hours!. They have the most delicious food and great winer pairings. It is a perfect afternoon in the sun, over looking the Okanagan Lake and sipping on some tasty wines. I always like to take my mom there for her birthday. My only disappointment is that they usually close around 4-4:30!No dinner hours which is terrible. I wish they would build an indoor eating area so they could have a longer season as well. It is too delicious not to!!! thewanderfulltraveler.com
