When we saw the menu we were immediately intrigued to try the place because there are not many places offering Uyghur style muslim Chinese food. When we got here there was no one else in the restaurant and we were not sure if the place was good. We still decided to give it a try and we are glad that we did. They didn’t have an English menu so the server gave us the old menu which was in English. We ordered dapanji chicken, lamb shoulder hot pot and lamb skewers. We have had dapanji chicken before at a very popular restaurant in New York but I think the dapanji chicken here was way better than the one we had before. The lamb shoulder hot pot was also very good.Lamb Skewers were also pretty good. We asked for spicy and they didn’t disappoint us. The spice level was perfect for us.The portions are huge but we enjoyed every single dish and were more than happy to get take leftovers for next day. We still want to try many other things on the menu and will be definitely going back. foodiemuggles.com
Bustling restaurant and friendly servers. Ordered lamb pot, their specialty – one piece noodle, big pot chicken (spicy), hand-grabbed rice and tiger salad. Salad was refreshing and chicken was delicious. Passed on lamb skewers even though they were popular for it, we probably overdid it on the number of dishes. One (really long) piece noodle was an interesting addition we really liked. For strong flavours, restaurant didnt disappoint. Must say lamb pot & rice was less seasoned than we expected but could be the xinjiang style it is prepared in.
Bei Jiang Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located on Kingsway Vancouver. Because of the location, its very easy to find, but not convenience to park your car. I remember there is BeiJiang Restaurant serves Uyghr dishes like Dapanji and Cumin Lamb in Richmond, Im wondering if this is the same one.Last weekend, my boyfriend and I went out for lunch. By accident, we found BeiJiang restaurant on Kingsway. Its a small restaurant, only has 4 big and 4 small tables. Everything has been renovated. Inside the restaurant, the whole environment decorates in traditional Chinese style. My boyfriend ordered beef stir-fried hand-made noodles and I had lamb one. Both of the noodle dishes cost us $24 in total. Its very easy making dish. Noodles add veggies. The taste of this dish was delicious. But, its too oily. food.belindajin.com
