Nice and clean place to eat and very fast with a very good customer service.i was also so impress to the lady who is always working there.she always easily recognise people and remember orders as soon as customers come…making the food so quick with a smile on her face.

Average. First time there and wasn’t impressed. It was the Asian lady working just like the previous posts. Maybe that’s why? I had donair dude in downtown a week prior and that hit the spot which I ate right after dine out dinner because I was still hungry. Maybe I’m comparing apples and oranges .

I’ve eaten here many times and always come back. It’s delicious and very convenient. Plus the guy who works there reminds me of Steven Segal so that’s always a plus!

Great food and excellent service. Very clean restaurant and a very good employee especialy at night time when the owner is around with the very friendly lady who i think works so hard but still have a chance to ask customer if everything is okay…

Nothing great…. I agree with the poster earlier, it used to be good. they’ve cut down the amount of meat they give you, and it really isnt worth the value. hopefully they read this and can change their portion sizes. its mostly when the asian lady is working. when i see her, i just keep walking. when the guy works, its pretty good still.

Hit or miss depending on who is working. Great donair when the bigger guy with ponytail is working(i think he’s the owner)anybody else it can be hit or miss with not enough meat, not enough sauce or both.Chicken is my favourite, the other meats are very salty even for me who generally likes salty.

What happened?. I used to love Donair Land. They used to use fresh rotisserie meat and stuffed their donairs heaping full with meat, veggies and a delicious tzatziki and hot sauce. I would always get the extra meat version of either chicken, beef or lamb. These things used to be almost impossible to finish and were absolutely delicious and fresh (although they could be a tad salty sometimes, but whatever I love salty). Now it seems things have changed. Every time I go in there their using meat that has already been sliced off the rotisserie and has been sitting in a steam table. This is fine when its really busy and that meat is probably still fresh but when I show up on a dead day in the middle of the afternoon that shouldn’t be acceptable, especially when it actually affects the meat (dried out).My biggest problem with this place though is they seem to have reduced the portion size dramatically. I went in there recently after being away from Vancouver for a few months and ordered my normal order of Mega chicken (supposed to be extra meat) and it was very small. Pretty much the exact size as the normal ones. Now I don’t know if this is a consistency error from the new employee who’s working there (short Asian lady) or if they have dramatically reduced the size of thier wraps. My friend went in another time and he said his wrap was really small (same lady working). Now I hope this was the mistake of a new employee because the Donair I got was not worth $7.50.So Donair Land train your staff better and do some quality control or your going to lose customers. There are other Donair shops out there and most are a better value.
