Very lively on a Friday night. Be sure to get there early to secure a spot in this small but charming place. On the weekends it fills up fast. Had the prosciutto pizza and it was delicious. The crust was thin and full of flavour. Fresh ingredients made all the difference. The place is pretty warm but the service and food make up for that! Check it out on a Friday night. I also hear they have a great open mic night on Tuesday’s
Nice place. After some non-existent service at a near by restaurant my girlfriend and I ended up here. The food was tasty, the service was prompt and polite and I like the decor as well.Next time I am in Kits I will probably come here!
Best pasta I’ve had in years made by Chef Evelyn.
Unbelievable. I recently visited this cute little place in Kitsilano for the second time, and it was amazing. I happened to visit on what appeared to be a quiet night, but after a short while, the place was full. As an appetizer, I tried the Dry Ribs, which were flavourful and had a complimentary sauce on the side. My entree was a homemade Pizza filled with Mushrooms and a creme fresh that was out of this world. The staff seemed to really love what they do as we chatted a great lengths about various events and shows that this place had to offer. I will definitely return and hope you all do too.06 Dec, 2011Best Pizza in Kitsilano. Recently I fell in love with Pizza again. I was invited by a friend to try the Corduroy Sunday Special ($20). Together we split a pitcher of beer (Granville) & shared a delicious Smoked duck, caramelized onion, Brie cheese and roasted red pepper pizza. Its was awesome. We listened to live music and really had a wonderful time. This truly is a hidden gem along Cornwall and Walnut in KitsilanoWhere else can you go for YUMMY gourmet pizza, 2 pints of beet for 10 bucks a person08 Nov, 2011Absolute Comfort. This place was absolutely perfect in every way. I have to admit, i was a little suspect when i read some of the (outdated) reviews (pre-2010). The older reviews appear to highlight some grudge that one particular customer had with a staff member. After visiting on a few separate occasions, I can honestly say, this is the best hidden secret in Kits. I was served by a super-cute, and incredibly charming server named Kayla that was seemed to have the perfect balance of wit and sass. As for the food, well folks, I never do this, but i actually asked to shake the hand of the Chef as his daily special was OUTSTANDING!! I tasted the dry ribs first, very tasty snack food, and then I had a risotto by Chef Figg that blew my mind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Mmmmm …. Their poutine is to die for. Great service too, and a nice vibe.
I live super close and have been meaning to check it out for a while, i went in late night for some food and it was suprisingly a pretty good vibe in the room. It was friendly and very lively although some customers in the back were obscenely loud. The food was good, especially the fact thats its open until 2am. To be critical of the food , i would say they need a little help with their pizza crust recipe, they did use quality ingredients on it though. I also had the poutine which was good but had a bit too much truffle, and the jus was good but a bit salty (and i am a salt aholic chef) but it could have just been over reduced as it was around 1am. The server was friendly and busy. All in all, decent food, cheap drinks, open late, 2 minute walk. It has my vote.
Best kits bar for low key blackout drinking. $5 house pints and the beat poutine around. Kits people understand the walk to drink. Corduroy FTW23 Oct, 2010Best kits bar for low key blackout drinking. $5 house pints and the best poutine around. Corduroy FTW
